Laboratory, immunological evaluation and clinical treatment in patients with lupus glomerulonephritis hospitalized in a hospital tertiary

Objective: Laboratory and histological evaluation of patients with lupus glomerulonephritis treated at Hospital Getúlio Vargas, in Teresina, Piauí. Methods: Descriptive, retrospective study, whose data were collected by consulting electronic medical records forms. Results: 33 evaluated, a mean age 30.45±10.19 years, female prevalence (96.97%). Most had altered creatinine values (51.51%) 24-hour proteinuria (81.81%). It was verified that C3 C4 (57.57%, each) altered, the Antinuclear Factor presented 63.63% positivity, followed Anti-DNA (54.54%) Anti-SM 24.24% reactive. About 54.55% underwent renal biopsy, type class IV (35.00%). The most used induction treatment Pulse Therapy Cyclophosphamide 6M 30/30 D (39.39%). There relationship significant difference between (p<0.05). Conclusion: have glomerulonephritis, are young adults, female, from countryside, biochemical parameters positivity for immunological ones.
